December 2018

Hatching, Density and Rows are the names of the three textiles that have been designed for Spanish weaving company Vertisol. For the window covering collection a range of 8 colour chips have been developed to create the characteristic shades for the yarns. Density has the finest bindings and creates the visuals effects of horizontal gradients from more dense and less dense areas. Hatching is constructed from rougher bindings resulting in vertical lines of irregular rhythm. Rows is a silkscreen printed textile, that is composed from rows of blocks that range from thinner to ticker lines.
