In 2017 Arco introduced the renewed colour and material palette for their products. A wide range of wood, stain colours, lacquers and powder coats are defined. Under Arco’s guidance Raw Color teamed up with Studio Linse to develop a spatial presentation of the renewed shades. Three different sizes of samples are displayed on shelves connected to perforated backdrops. Three dimensional samples are derived from product details allowing to experience the materials on volumes. The spatial presentation is accompanied by a photo series that illustrates the several colour groups.
Arco is a contemporary furniture brand that designs, develops and produces. Creative Director Jorre van Ast leads the family business in the fourth generation. For more then 110 years the company and factory is based in the east of the Netherlands, in Winterswijk within a dense forest area. Arco is specialised in wood working, with a strong focus on tables and chairs as the core of their collection.
