Pretty Perfect
Workwear aspects. Perfect formality. Engineered detailing.
Each season 5 different colour trends for woven bottom are defined by Stijlinstituut Amsterdam. These trends and colour scheme support the visual communication between yarn producer Invista and the fashion brands. The concept for the Spring/Summer 2019 series combines pants with interior objects, in which the objects enhance together with the pants and background colours the character of the individual themes. The shoot was commissioned by Stijlinstituut.
The 5 themes are defined by Anne Marie Commandeur : ‘New Normal’ - A retro modern look. Seeing comfort as the new luxury. ‘Pretty Perfect’ - Workwear aspects. Perfect formality. Engineered detailing. ‘Track Wear’ - A mix of track and field. Casual favourites tweaked and styled into a new fashion arena. ‘Urban Tribe’ - Mixing utility with ethnic detailing and finishing. Comfortable and fluid. ‘Post Metal’ - Hyper-fractured leather biker pants. A focus on personality rather then classic trend.
