STRP brings together art, technology and experimental pop culture and connects them to wide and interested audiences. With its interactive art, light art, robotics, performances, experimental music and films, lectures and workshops STRP offers a glimpse into the near and sometimes distant future of our technology-driven culture. The highlight is the biennial. Held every other year, it is the most versatile indoor art & technology festival in the Netherlands.

The graphic identity refers to the visual characteristics of digital crafts such as programming and coding, resembling RGB colours and monospace typography. Both of them are merged in a module that allows to generate images with these ingredients, as a reminiscence of ASCII art. The particlized photographs serve as a recognisable back bone of the identity. With its dynamic character the identity is applied across several media such as print, web, signing and animation.

ASCII codes represent text in computers and communications devices that and was the most common character encoding on the World Wide Web until 2007.
